I'm so in, as D Burton said, gym practices without children must be heaven... And I don't know, but it might be worth asking if you can get a discount, as some of the money goes to pay Edge employees to supervise, and Jayek and Ace already work th...

Ah alright, I'll talk to my parents and see.

Sorry, but i think the only way to do that is to take a "trial" Parkour class. They let you take a free trial to see if you like it. I think that's about the only string we can pull.

About Me:
You ever have the feeling that there's been something that you've been waiting for, and all of the sudden you find it? Let's just say that training in tricking is the only real exercise that I've ever enjoyed. I've just really started to get into it since last year.

Upon seeing the videos, I have a lot to learn about Parkour, however, I have a lot to contribute in some related areas: I specialize in martial arts choreography and some intermediate acrobatics. Personally I hope to be able to to put those to work here in KC.

How did you find out about Parkour?
I researched freerunning and just sort of found my way here.

This is the only video I have of my work so far. No, it's not a non sequitur. It's a musical competition at my school, and I choreographed the fight scene from about 2:00-3:00 in the video. At the beginning of the scene you get to see some of what I can do: I'm the backflip guy, to put it mildly.

It's more of having a demo reel. When we were watching a couple of short films last night, I remembered a few people who have brought in compilation DVDs of stuff they've done. One was a guy who has done lighting, and a friend of mine who is a composer.

Some demo reel examples:

You might put together both fighting and Parkour. You could include some outdoor and urban shots if you have some. But it's essentially to show what you can do and how it looks on camera.

The Edge fight compilation is good. But you might include some Parkour to show further stunt capabilities.

Sup, dude! This is Taylor btw... Oh, are you going to go to open gym today? I will be there and I am going to bring one of my friends. He is new to tricking and what not so we get to teach him some stuff >:) (He is a quick learner when it comes to everything so I want to give him a run for his money to see if he can do a front flip on the ground by the end of the day lol.)
